Who we are? - An inside behind the chefs

Hi,
We are Emily and Joe a couple from Sheffield, UK. Through the lockdown of 2020, like any other person, we found ourselves cooking more and more amazing meals. Emily, a ex-chef and Joe an avid eater of Emily's cooking and learning new dishes himself we thought we would make our mark on the world and show what we think of the Cook Book recipes out there. To find out how easy they are to make and can we put our own spin on it?
Joe has been brought up a Yorkshire lad through and through. Raised watching his family cook hearty meals that you would expect from a mining community, his love and passion for cooking comes with experimenting ideas. His Grandad Terry may have a hand in that idea!
Whilst Emily comes from a mixed background. Her Polish mother and Scottish Father, the European-esk food brought into her home at a young age is what made her want to become a chef. No two meals are the same, something always needs to be changed or amended to get the tastes of the world in every bite.
We are both perfectionists and cooking is our passion. We are going on a journey to make the best recipes out there. What could go wrong?
